Neuroscience data spans brain imaging, electrophysiology and cell anatomy. OpenNeuro is the main open repository for MRI, EEG and MEG studies and absorbed the older OpenfMRI. The Human Connectome Project provides high-quality imaging of healthy adults, OASIS covers brain MRI across ageing, FCP-INDI shares resting-state scans, and Study Forrest pairs fMRI with a feature film. The Nencki-Symfonia set offers high-density EEG from 42 adults.

At the cellular level the Allen Institute publishes brain atlases and cell data, NeuroMorpho holds digitally reconstructed neurons, Neuroelectro collects electrophysiology properties, and CRCNS shares recordings for computational modelling. Access rules differ. Some repositories are fully open, while the Human Connectome Project and OASIS ask you to accept data use terms, and the NIMH Data Archive requires an institutional access request. Imaging data is commonly organised in BIDS with NIfTI files, and morphology in SWC.

NeuroMorpho.Org is a centrally curated inventory of digitally reconstructed neurons associated with peer-reviewed publications. It contains contributions from over 400 laboratories worldwide and is continuously updated as new morphological reconstructions are collected, published, and shared. To…

The Nencki-Symfonia EEG/ERP datasetNencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS

A high-density electroencephalography (EEG) dataset from a sample of 42 healthy young adults while they performed three cognitive tasks; (1) an extended Multi-Source Interference Task (MSIT+) with control, Simon, Flanker, and multi-source interference trials; (2) a 3-stimuli oddball task with…
