Social network datasets capture who talks to whom and what they say. The list has several Twitter collections, including COVID-19 tweets from Georgia State's Panacea Lab, US Congress tweets, Portuguese election tweets and older scrapes. Email graphs come from the CMU and EDRM versions of the Enron corpus, and other sources include the Facebook Social Connectedness Index, the GitHub Collaboration Archive, the Reddit COVID dataset, Google Scholar citation relations and contact networks from wearable sensors.
Platform terms shape what can be shared. Many tweet collections are distributed as tweet IDs that you must rehydrate through the platform's API, which is now paid, and deleted posts cannot be recovered. Older scrapes may break current terms of service. Even public posts are personal data under laws like the GDPR, so aggregate where you can and avoid republishing identifiable content.
